Planning
During the planning stage, we spend time getting to know you and your business or organization. During this stage, we may assess your: Overall Business Strategy, Marketing Objectives, Target Audience, Competition, Project and Design Preferences, Ideas, and more. From gaining the answers to these questions we'll begin by creating a basic 'wireframe' of your attempts. This helps us both find out the best way of laying out your project and ensuring that people are able to find what they're looking for in a flash.
Concept & Design
After we have gathered the information, goals, and objectives needed for the project, we begin to conceptualize the design and to develop the overall structure for the project. During this stage, we may submit to you for your feedback and approval: Design Concept and Mockup(s), Project Description/Map, a detailed functionality outline, and, if HeydenCreative is writing or editing content for the project, a complete list of the pages to be written or edited. We will ensure that the overall design suits the functionality required for the project.
Build
Once the design concept and overall project structure have been signed off , we begin to build your project. The Build Phase is often the longest phase of the project process. We build out all pages/screens and propagate with content and graphics, we code and develop all technical requirements (database, e-commerce functionality, etc).
Testing, Quality Insurance, and Project Deployment
Testing, testing, testing. Once the project has been built it will be tested by our folks. We then turn it over to you to review and test. Revisions, if needed, are made to the project based on testing and feedbacks. Once we receive your final approval, your project is ready to ìgo liveî! Upon your final approval, depending on the type of project, HeydenCreative may: upload your web files to your live web server and submit the site to search engines (web project), submit to you the final files in printer ready format (print project), or submit to you the final files on CD Rom, DVD, or by mail!
